Panjiri is a time-honoured blend found across South Asia, from Punjab to Gujarat to Maharashtra, passed down through generations as both food and care. Traditionally prepared during colder months or after childbirth, it is designed to restore strength, support digestion, and bring the body back into balance.
This version is handcrafted in small batches using organic gram flour, regeneratively farmed almond flour, and a thoughtful mix of seeds and ingredients chosen for their nutritional value. Makhana (fox nuts), gond babul (edible gum), and omega-rich seeds are gently combined and slow-roasted in homemade ghee, allowing the flavours to deepen while preserving their nourishing qualities.
Created by Biskut Bar, this panjiri draws directly from postpartum traditions and everyday rituals of care, where food is used not just to satisfy, but to support and restore. It reflects a way of eating that is intentional, rooted in knowledge, and shaped by lived experience.

Biskut Bar reimagines South Asian sweets through a more considered lens, drawing from traditions of nourishment and celebration. Using organic ingredients and thoughtful production, the brand creates space for familiar flavours to be experienced in a more balanced, intentional way, while supporting social justice initiatives and South Asian artists.
