In Uganda, we work alongside an organisation supporting women and girls, where weaving becomes both a source of income and a pathway to independence. Using locally sourced banana fibre and raffia, these materials are carefully transformed into practical pieces through time-honoured techniques.

Each mat and tray reflects patience, skill and the continuation of craft, shaped by hands that bring both resilience and creativity into their work. Practical, durable and naturally textured, these are objects made to be used while carrying a deeper connection to the people who made them.
