Inspired by the ancient Ayurvedic drink of turmeric milk, these biscuits bring together ingredients long associated with comfort and restoration. Turmeric, cinnamon, and freshly ground black pepper create a soft, warming spice, while candied fennel seeds add a delicate sweetness and light crunch.
Handcrafted in small batches using organic ingredients, each biscuit offers a balance between indulgence and intention. The flavour is layered but not overwhelming, allowing the spices to sit gently alongside a subtle sweetness, making them as suited to quiet moments as they are to sharing.
These biscuits are created by Biskut Bar, a brand rooted in reimagining South Asian sweets through a more considered lens. The inspiration traces back to traditional postpartum foods like panjiri, a nourishing blend given to new mothers for strength and recovery, and to the wider cultural ritual of “moo mitha”, the act of sharing something sweet to celebrate and welcome new beginnings.
In bringing these traditions into a biscuit form, Biskut Bar creates something both familiar and new, honouring heritage while shaping it for modern, mindful enjoyment.
