Woven by hand by Palestinian Bedouin women, this shoulder bag brings a longstanding textile tradition into a practical piece designed for everyday use.
The body is built around a deep red base, with horizontal bands of blue, black, green, and red moving across the upper section. The same language continues through the long woven shoulder strap, while two tassels in red and deep blue finish the piece at the front.
Bedouin weaving has long balanced usefulness with pattern and colour, creating textiles made to be handled, carried, and lived with. Here, that knowledge is translated into a contemporary everyday form without losing the character of the original craft.
We work with the women through Sidreh, supporting a weaving tradition that continues to provide both cultural continuity and meaningful income.
No two bags are exactly alike. Slight variations in weave, colour, tension, tassels, and finish are part of their character and reflect the hand of the woman who made them.

Giving back
This piece supports Palestinian Bedouin women through meaningful, fairly paid work while helping traditional weaving knowledge continue as a living craft.
Working through Sidreh allows us to support women whose skills, knowledge, and livelihoods are rooted in this weaving tradition, while bringing their work to a wider audience.
By expanding the makers we work with in Palestine, we are creating opportunities for more communities to benefit from the collection while sharing the skills, materials, and stories held within their work.
A portion of proceeds across our wider collection is shared with marginalised communities through our ongoing partnership with human rights organisation Restless Beings.
For every order placed, we also plant a tree, contributing to long-term environmental restoration.
