Barakah Greeting Card

Blessings is an original painting by Spanish artist and photographer Chio, created around the idea of gratitude and the value held in everyday moments.

At the centre of the artwork are a date and a glass of water, simple objects that speak to nourishment, pause, and appreciation. Together, they become a reminder that abundance is not always found in excess, but in recognising the meaning of what is already present.

The piece is designed to carry that feeling into different moments throughout the year, whether given as a thank you, a message of encouragement, a celebration, or simply as a reminder to notice and appreciate what we have.

The original artwork was commissioned by SPINDLE for Ramadan and drew inspiration from the simplicity of breaking fast with dates and water at iftar. We later developed the painting into a greeting card and art print so its message of gratitude and blessing could live beyond the month itself.
