Often referred to as the ‘King of Dates’, Medjoul dates are prized for their plump texture and deep, caramel-like flavour. These are grown in the Jordan Valley, one of the lowest points on earth, where the unique climate allows the fruit to ripen slowly and develop exceptional depth and richness.
Cultivated across wide palm groves, the dates are grown without the use of chemical fertilisers, herbicides, or pesticides, with a focus on long-term care for soil, water, and land. Harvested by hand and carefully sorted, each date reflects both the conditions it is grown in and the attention given to it along the way.
Produced by Rift Valley Farms, these dates are the result of close collaboration with small Palestinian farmers. From cultivation through to packing, the process is designed to maintain quality while ensuring that value remains within the community.
Naturally high in fibre and potassium, they are both nourishing and indulgent, enjoyed simply on their own, paired with coffee, or shared as part of a meal. Their versatility makes them just as suited to gifting as they are to baking, cheeseboards, and slow-cooked dishes.

By stocking and supporting Palestinian-made goods, we contribute to sustaining livelihoods and preserving craft under ongoing occupation and erasure.
A portion of proceeds is shared with marginalised communities through our ongoing partnership with human rights organisation Restless Beings.
For every order placed, we also plant a tree, contributing to long-term environmental restoration.
Rift Valley Farms is rooted in the Jordan Valley, where fertile land and a unique climate create ideal conditions for growing Medjoul dates. Working from their own land while collaborating with small and mid-sized Palestinian farmers, they combine traditional knowledge with sustainable practices to support long-term agriculture.
The dates are grown across this landscape using methods that prioritise soil health, water conservation, and biodiversity. Women play an active role across the business, from leadership to the packing house in the village of Oja, reflecting a commitment to both community and equity within agriculture.
We support makers and farmers near and far through fair wages and thoughtful partnerships.
We choose natural, biodegradable materials and eco-conscious or plant-based dyes where possible. While we avoid single-use plastic, we reuse any that arrives with deliveries to reduce waste.
A percentage of every order goes to marginalised communities, and every purchase plants a tree.
