Often referred to as the ‘King of Dates’, Medjoul dates are prized for their generous size, soft texture, and deep, caramel-like flavour. These are from the new season harvest, when the fruit is at its freshest, full of moisture, depth, and natural sweetness.

Grown in the Jordan Valley, one of the lowest points on earth, the unique climate allows the dates to ripen slowly, developing their distinctive richness and complexity. Cultivated across wide palm groves, they are grown without chemical fertilisers, herbicides, or pesticides, with careful attention given to soil health, water use, and long-term sustainability.

Produced by Rift Valley Farms, these dates are the result of close collaboration with small Palestinian farmers. From harvest through to packing, every stage is handled with care to maintain quality while supporting livelihoods within the community.

Naturally high in fibre and potassium, they are both nourishing and indulgent. Enjoyed straight from the box, paired with coffee, or shared at the table, they also lend themselves beautifully to baking, cheeseboards, and slow-cooked savoury dishes.

Rift Valley Farms, West Bank

Rift Valley Farms is rooted in the Jordan Valley, where fertile land and a unique climate create ideal conditions for growing Medjoul dates. Working from their own land while collaborating with small and mid-sized Palestinian farmers, they combine traditional knowledge with sustainable practices to support long-term agriculture.

The dates are grown across this landscape using methods that prioritise soil health, water conservation, and biodiversity. Women play an active role across the business, from leadership to the packing house in the village of Oja, reflecting a commitment to both community and equity within agriculture.
