Named after Empress Nur Jahan of Mughal India, a powerful figure known for her influence, intellect, and refined taste.

It is said that the discovery of attar, rose perfume, traces back to her mother, Asmat Begum of Persia, who noticed a delicate oil forming on the surface of rose water left overnight. Noor Jahan was known to favour this scent, surrounding herself with rose in its purest form.

This candle captures that simplicity and beauty. A true rose fragrance, fresh and immediate, like petals just cut. The scent is clean and full, with a strong throw that gently fills a space without overwhelming it.

Elegant and timeless, Noor Jahan is a scent that lingers softly, bringing a sense of calm and quiet luxury.

Details

Size: Approx. 45 hours burn time

Material: Coconut and rapeseed wax with a wooden wick. Paraffin-free, soy-free, and palm-free. Vegan, halal and Kosher certifed.

Origin: Made in the UK in small batches.

Care
On first burn, allow the surface to fully melt to the edges to prevent tunnelling. We recommend burning for 3–4 hours at a time. Trim the wick before each use.
