Sanganeri block printing originated in the town of Sanganer near Jaipur, Rajasthan, where artisans have been printing intricate floral textiles by hand for centuries. Using hand-carved wooden blocks, each layer of pattern is applied individually, creating the delicate motifs and subtle variations that make every piece distinctive.
This notebook is wrapped using reclaimed Sanganeri fabric off-cuts, allowing even the smallest pieces of beautifully printed cloth to continue their story. Every cover is entirely one of a kind, with no two notebooks ever exactly alike.
The pages inside are made from recycled cotton, paper waste and natural fibres, avoiding the use of new trees while giving existing materials another life. Carefully handcrafted using traditional bookbinding techniques, it is made to be used, carried and filled over time.
