Handmade and shaped with care, this ceramic mug carries the iconic keffiyeh pattern, a design long rooted in Palestinian history and everyday life.

The pattern itself holds layers of meaning, from fishnet and olive leaves to flowing lines that speak to land, labour, and connection. Passed down through generations, the keffiyeh has come to represent resilience, unity, and a shared cultural identity that extends far beyond its origins.

There is a quiet weight to it, something that goes beyond function, where even the act of holding it becomes a small moment of connection. Whether used daily or kept as something to display, it carries both presence and meaning.

Each mug is handmade, with slight variations in the pattern and glaze that add to its character and individuality.

Details

Size: 10cm tall, 8cm diameter. Capacity: 300ml

Colour: White and black

Material: Ceramic

Origin: Made in the West Bank, Palestine, by local artisans.

Care
Hand wash recommended to preserve the finish. Avoid harsh detergents and abrasive materials.
The glaze features natural crackling, which is part of the piece’s character. While perfectly safe to drink from, darker beverages such as coffee or tea may deepen the crackling over time. If you prefer to preserve its current appearance, we recommend using it as a decorative piece.
Giving back

Each piece supports Palestinian artisans, helping to sustain traditional craft and cultural expression through meaningful, fairly paid work.

A portion of proceeds is shared with marginalised communities through our ongoing partnership with human rights organisation Restless Beings.

For every order placed, we also plant a tree, contributing to long-term environmental restoration.
