Sanganeri printing is a form of hand block printing that originated in Rajasthan, where patterns are carefully applied onto cotton using carved wooden blocks. The process involves multiple stages, often over twenty steps, where natural dyes are layered to create delicate floral and geometric designs. Known for its precision and clarity, Sanganeri work is characterised by soft, balanced compositions that sit gently on the fabric.
The cover is made using fabric off-cuts, allowing smaller remnants to be used thoughtfully, while the pages inside are formed from recycled cotton, paper waste, and other natural fibres. This process avoids the use of new raw materials, giving existing materials a further life.
Designed for everyday use, the notebook holds a clean, ruled interior, making it easy to return to for notes, lists, or quiet moments of writing.
