Furoshiki (風呂敷) are traditional Japanese wrapping cloths used to wrap, carry, and present goods and gifts. Beautiful, practical, and endlessly reusable, they offer a slower and more sustainable alternative to disposable gift wrap.
This set brings together four cotton cloths in varying sizes, each one block-printed by hand using vegetable-based inks in a small family-run studio in Jaipur, India. The prints carry the character of handwork, with subtle variations that make each cloth feel full of life and movement.
Designed to be used year after year, these cloths can wrap anything from books and candles to ceramics, food gifts, and small keepsakes. Once opened, they can be folded away and used again, becoming part of the ritual of gifting rather than something to be thrown away.
A timeless way to wrap with care, this set brings together beauty, usefulness, and a more thoughtful approach to giving.
This piece is part of our co-created collection, designed in collaboration with makers to ensure meaningful, fairly paid work while creating pieces that are both functional and rooted in heritage.
By choosing reusable wrapping cloths, you are also supporting a slower, more thoughtful way of gifting and a move away from single-use wrapping paper.
A portion of proceeds is shared with marginalised communities through our ongoing partnership with human rights organisation Restless Beings.
For every order placed, we also plant a tree, contributing to long-term environmental restoration.
We support makers and farmers near and far through fair wages and thoughtful partnerships.
We choose natural, biodegradable materials and eco-conscious or plant-based dyes where possible. While we avoid single-use plastic, we reuse any that arrives with deliveries to reduce waste.
A percentage of every order goes to marginalised communities, and every purchase plants a tree.
