Zara Moroccan Wool Pom-Pom Blanket

Tamazighin, meaning “free women,” is a collection of traditional wool blankets made by Amazigh women just outside Marrakesh.

Woven on traditional wooden looms using hand-spun virgin wool, each piece follows a process that begins and ends with intention. The blanket is considered a form of protection once completed, with meaning rooted in the making itself.

This piece features a simple black border with large hand-tied tassels, bringing a sense of structure and texture. The wool is left in its natural state, giving it a slightly coarse feel that softens beautifully over time.
