Handmade Paper Kantha Notebook with Botanical Leaf Print | Blue

Kantha is a centuries-old stitching tradition rooted in Bengal, the region now divided between Bangladesh and the Indian state of West Bengal. Traditionally practised by women, layers of worn cloth were joined and renewed through lines of running stitch, transforming everyday textiles into useful and intricately decorated pieces.

The cover of this notebook brings that tradition into a contemporary design. One panel features detailed Kantha embroidery, created through rows of small, rhythmic stitches. The other carries the impression of a real leaf, naturally transferred onto cotton fabric to give each cover its own organic markings.

Inside are 120 ruled pages of naturally sourced, handcrafted paper. The paper has a warm cream colour and a tactile finish that differs from the recycled cotton paper used in our other notebooks.

Every combination of stitching, colour and botanical print is different, so no two notebooks will ever be exactly alike. Made for journalling, lists, notes, sketches and ideas worth holding onto.
