Made in the historic city of Nablus, this soap carries a craft that has been practised for generations, shaped through patience, material, and place.
Produced by the Al-Shakaa family for over 180 years, each bar follows a process that remains largely unchanged. Olive oil is slowly cooked with water and alkaline elements over several days, before being poured across large surfaces, left to settle, and hand-cut into individual blocks. The bars are then stacked and left to dry for weeks, allowing the soap to firm and mature naturally.
Stamped with the distinctive camel imprint, a reference to the caravans that once transported key ingredients, each bar holds subtle traces of history within its surface.
Simple in composition, made from olive oil, water, and alkaline ash, the soap produces a gentle, creamy lather that softens over time. As it ages, the colour deepens and the scent becomes more subtle, reflecting the natural qualities of its ingredients.

Care

Each piece supports traditional soapmakers in Nablus, helping to sustain one of the oldest soapmaking practices in the region.
