Home of heritage, handicraft & Heart Every order plants a tree and supports marginalised communities via donations Free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 Handmade by artisans from Palestine, Uganda, India and beyond.

Made using a process that has been practised for generations, this soap is shaped through simplicity, where few ingredients are brought together with care and time.

Produced in Nablus, long known as the centre of traditional soapmaking, it is made primarily from olive oil, giving it a gentle, nourishing quality suited to daily use. The composition remains minimal, allowing the natural properties of the oil to come through, softening and cleansing the skin without stripping it.

Over time, the bar continues to develop, becoming firmer and longer-lasting, with a softer, more subtle scent. Its texture produces a light, creamy lather, leaving the skin feeling balanced and refreshed.

A quiet essential, rooted in a long-standing connection between material, craft, and everyday care.

Nablusi Soap

Nabulsi soapmaking is one of the oldest continuously practised crafts in Palestine, centred in the city of Nablus, where it has been made for centuries using olive oil as its primary ingredient.

The process is slow and hands-on. Olive oil is cooked with water and alkaline elements over several days, then poured across large surfaces, smoothed, and cut into individual bars by hand. The soaps are stacked and left to dry for weeks, allowing them to harden naturally and develop their distinctive character.

Once a thriving industry across the city, Nablus was home to many soap factories, each known for its own method and stamp. Today, fewer remain, but the craft continues through makers who carry forward these techniques, preserving a practice deeply rooted in the land and its history.
