Divided into four sections, it explores the foods people grow, cook, share, and return to, while revealing connections across different places and histories.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSudan\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e – Ful, bread, egg, chilli, and tea reflect everyday nourishment, gathering, and the familiar rituals that turn a meal into something shared.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eJammu and Kashmir \/ Azad Jammu and Kashmir\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e – Rice, tea, and bread connect agriculture with daily life. Salted nun chai and sweet pink chai differ in preparation, but both carry rituals of hospitality, pause, and conversation.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eRohingya community\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e – Rice, aubergine, pumpkin, and banana leaf reference food and agricultural traditions connected to life before displacement, while also creating connections with Bangladesh, where many displaced Rohingya people now live.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePalestine\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e – Musakhan, made with olive oil, onion, sumac, chicken, and taboon bread, sits alongside olives and citrus, reflecting the relationship between food, agriculture, land, and communal eating.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFor the tea towel itself, we worked with Tatreez Collective to source Mansouri cotton and have each piece sewn in Palestine. The artwork is then screen printed by Nasri in his workshop in Ramallah, West Bank.
